Our response above certainly applies to the Seattle PI report. We would only add that no one wants to split families apart--no one is that heartless. But to the parents who enter this country illegally knowing the risks and potential consequences, and who would use their own children as shields for their actions, the hardships that your family has to face when you are ultimately caught are due exclusively to the decisions and choices that *YOU* made. Do not show even further poor character by blaming Americans for enforcing their own laws, laws that you willingly, and intentionally, violated. Now buck up and fly straight and obey the law and stop blaming others for your problems.
